Cranbrook 2nd vs King’s 2nd – Thursday 23rd September

After a tight game against Ashford the previous week, King's were ready to put up a fight against Cranbrook following a great training session on the alps .

King's had a great start with Callum Taylor kicking off and King's applying pressure onto Cranbrook with some tough tackles on Cranbrook’s try line.

Freddie Taylor came close to scoring early, after being held up on the Cranbrook try line as King's were forcing through Cranbrook’s defensive line with their forwards making a big impact.

Before half time King's were determined to score, this came when the ball was played through the backs to the winger Isaac Moses to have a free run into the corner of the pitch and score Kings’ first try of the match, as Isaac was also able to kick a great conversion putting Kings 7-0 up at half time

Going into the second half King's were showing no sign of giving away a try, with some great tackles from the whole team managing to win the ball back on multiple occasions

With some excellent scrums and line-outs this allowed King's to get the ball moving out to the winger allowing Isaac to score his second try of the game in the corner and once again converting it making the score 14-0 to King's

King's did not drop the standards and defended relentlessly and managed to secure the 14-0 victory away from home.
