On Saturday 18th September, a King’s mixed XV played Ashford away in an exciting fixture. Sam Nash opened the game up with a great finish in the corner of the pitch to help King's take the lead, but this was short-lived as Ashford scored twice to go ahead in the first half. After half time King's came out showing what they can really do. Moving the ball with speed and accuracy from inside their own 22 an excellent try was finished off by Harrison Fermor. Kings’ momentum continued and a penalty try shortly followed. Towards the end of the game King's showed great work rate in defence, but were unable to hold onto the lead meaning the score finished with a 19-19 draw.
